F-Droid is an app store run by a nonprofit that lists only free and open source apps, and it builds them from source. It flags apps that track you, show ads or depend on closed services, so you can see before you install.
The catalogue is smaller than Google Play's and most big names are missing, so Delivery is a 3.
- Only free and open source apps, built from source
- Warns when an app tracks you or shows ads
- A smaller catalogue, missing most big names

This badge reports a dated review. It is not a certification and it costs nothing. Link it to this page and leave the numbers alone: the image always shows the current score.
For dark backgrounds, use f-droid-dark.svg in place of f-droid-light.svg.
For comparison, we also reviewed Google Play (15/30) as a benchmark.
