Notesnook
Notes that are encrypted before they leave your device.
Instead of Evernote, Google Keep

Notesnook encrypts your notes on your device before they sync, so the company cannot read them, and its apps are open source. It looks and feels like a normal notes app, which helps if you are coming from Evernote.
Some features are paid, and we have not checked its export in detail, so Lock-in is our estimate.
- Notes are encrypted before they leave your device
- Open source apps on every platform
- Some features need a paid plan

This badge reports a dated review. It is not a certification and it costs nothing. Link it to this page and leave the numbers alone: the image always shows the current score.
For dark backgrounds, use notesnook-dark.svg in place of notesnook-light.svg.
For comparison, we also reviewed Microsoft Word (15/30) as a benchmark.
