PhotoPrism
A photo library you host, with search that sorts pictures by place and subject.
Instead of Google Photos

PhotoPrism indexes the photos you already have, finds places, faces and subjects, and lets you browse them from a web page on your own server. Your originals stay as plain files.
Setup takes some comfort with servers, and some features sit behind a paid membership. Phone backup relies on other apps.
- Searches and sorts your photos from your own server
- Your originals stay ordinary files
- Needs some server know-how and has paid extras

This badge reports a dated review. It is not a certification and it costs nothing. Link it to this page and leave the numbers alone: the image always shows the current score.
For dark backgrounds, use photoprism-dark.svg in place of photoprism-light.svg.
For comparison, we also reviewed Google Photos (16/30) as a benchmark.
