Loops describes itself as a federated, open-source short-video platform built on ActivityPub. Its homepage lists no ads and says it has no dark-pattern growth hacks. It is made by the Pixelfed developer and has apps for iOS and Android as well as the web.
It is young, and its signup links to a beta page. Its For You feed is still driven by engagement, hashtags and your social graph, so it is worth watching how it handles that as it grows. We did not find its licence on the homepage, and the audience is small, which is why Delivery is only a 2.
